International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) in cooperation with the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources has embarked on producing a Renewable Readiness Assessment, coupled with the IRENA Flexibility analyses. This two-day multi-stakeholder meeting gathered national stakeholders representing the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (MEMR), National Electric Power Company (NEPCO), development partners, IFI’s, private sector, non-governmental organizations, universities, and research institutions.
This meeting presented the report that emanated from the Renewables Readiness Assessment process in Mali, and discussed ways forward for the implementation of its recommendations.
