The International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), in cooperation with the East Africa Centre of Excellence for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (EACREEE) will provide a three-day training on off-grid renewable energy to improve the availability of reliable information on renewable energy in the East Africa region.

The Energy Transition Accelerator Financing (ETAF) Platform is a new initiative hosted by IRENA that aims to mobilise approximately USD 1 billion capital resources to support the energy transition by 2030.
