RRA Burkina Faso Expert Consultation workshop

With the support of IRENA, the Republic of Burkina Faso through the Ministry of Mines, Quarries and Energy undertook a Renewable Readiness Assessment (RRA). As part of this process an Expert Consultation workshop will be held on June 23-24, 2021.

The workshop brought together relevant stakeholders for development of renewables in the country, including government officials, energy regulators and planners, energy experts, civil society, academia, financing institutions and the private sector, to discuss the challenges and opportunities for the development of renewables. The actions to ensure favorable conditions for the renewable energy development and deployment will be recommended. The outcomes of the discussions provided substantive inputs for the preparations of the RRA report.
