The first APRA Investment Forum (IF) is being organised to help create and implement a pipeline of projects in support of APRA objectives.

This webinar will guide Central Asian renewable energy project developers through submitting bankable proposals under the Climate Investment Platform (CIP) and Energy Transition Accelerator Financing (ETAF) platform to advance clean energy investment in the region.

During the meeting, the IRENA Secretariat will provide an update on the progress of its two main project facilitation initiatives: the Climate Investment Platform (CIP) and the Energy Transition Accelerator Financing (ETAF) Platform.

The webinar shared the submission of project applications to the Climate Investment Platform (CIP) and insight on the assessment criteria and project support process.

The second APRA Investment Forum (IF) is being co-hosted by the Government of Sierra Leone and the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) in Freetown, Sierra Leone, on 22-23 October 2025, to accelerate the development and implementation of energy transition projects across APRA member countries.
