Submit a Bankable Renewable Energy Proposal – Central Asia Focus

As part of IRENA’s Call for Renewable Energy Projects with a focus on Central Asia, this webinar provides guidance to project developers on how to prepare and submit strong, bankable proposals under the Climate Investment Platform (CIP) and the Energy Transition Accelerator Financing (ETAF) platform.

The webinar was delivered in both English and Russian, with translation available, to ensure accessibility for stakeholders across Central Asian countries: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.

The session:

• Provided step-by-step guidance on how to register and submit a project
• Explained the eligibility requirements under both the CIP and ETAF platforms
• Offered practical tips on packaging a proposal that meets investor expectations

IRENA is currently accepting Renewable Energy project proposals under its two project facilitation platforms:

• Climate Investment Platform (CIP)
• Energy Transition Accelerator Financing (ETAF) Platform

Proposals submitted by the 15^th of August 2025 will receive priority consideration for investment facilitation and support.
