Bringing together representatives from government, industry, and international organisations, discussions will focus on moving from risk management to opportunity creation, encouraging collaborative supply chain improvements that support shared prosperity and long-term resilience.

Accelerating Clean Energy Transition Through Enhanced Energy Planning
Long-term national energy planning has emerged as a foundational tool to bridge the critical gap between climate ambitions and investment realities. Co-organised by SEforALL and IRENA, the side event will showcase country experiences and lessons learned in enhancing institutional energy planning capabilities. The session will also see the launch of IRENA's Toolkit on Participatory Processes for National Energy Planning.

Fostering Clean Energy Innovation in EMDEs and Mission Innovation: From Best Practices to Global Impact Through Collaboration
Co-organised by Mission Innovation (MI) and IRENA, this session will spotlight innovation trends from MI Missions and emerging market and developing economies (EMDEs), showcasing best practices that accelerate clean energy solutions and sustainable development. The event will examine enabling environments that foster clean energy innovation in EMDEs and take stock of existing cooperation models with the aims to identify collaboration opportunities, outline actionable pathways for scaling impactful initiatives.

Building Resilient Power Systems with Digital and AI Solutions Across Regions
Co-organised by Canada’s G7 Presidency, and IRENA, this high-level event will address data interoperability, digital infrastructure investment, public-private innovation ecosystems and integration into energy planning processes. Recognising the diverse starting points of energy systems across advanced economies and in EMDEs, the panel will explore how digitalisation can support leapfrogging traditional infrastructure, enhance remote energy access, and improve mini-grid management, among others.
