The second APRA Investment Forum (IF) is being co-hosted by the Government of Sierra Leone and the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) in Freetown, Sierra Leone, on 22-23 October 2025, to accelerate the development and implementation of energy transition projects across APRA member countries.
This webinar guided Central Asian renewable energy project developers through submitting bankable proposals under the Climate Investment Platform (CIP) and Energy Transition Accelerator Financing (ETAF) platform to advance clean energy investment in the region.
The workshops will focus on building technical capacity, promoting investment partnerships, and fostering knowledge exchange among smallholder farmers, cooperatives, agribusinesses, renewable energy entrepreneurs, financial institutions, and policymakers.
During the meeting, the IRENA Secretariat will provide an update on the progress of its two main project facilitation initiatives: the Climate Investment Platform (CIP) and the Energy Transition Accelerator Financing (ETAF) Platform.
