The workshop on ‘Disruptive innovative solutions enabling 100% renewable power systems by mid-century’, held online, was the fourth and last activity performed under the ‘Experience-sharing programme on innovative solutions for very high shares of renewable power by mid-century’ taking place throughout 2019.
In the framework of country-level support for revisions of NDCs under the CAEP delivered by the NDC partnership, IRENA supports the government of Niger through a targeted capacity building program on long-term energy planning.

The ECOWAS Sustainable Energy Forum (ESEF) is a major regional energy event that convenes policymakers, utilities, national energy planners, renewable energy developers, financiers, service providers, and development banks and agencies. At the forum, IRENA co-organised a workshop on project facilitation and business to business matchmaking event for developers, service providers and financiers.
