IRENA and PFAN Matchmaking Forum at the ADB Asia Clean Energy Forum 2018

IRENA organised a half day Matchmaking event at the Asia Clean Energy Forum in Manila. More than 100 clean energy practitioners attended the launch of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) Sustainable Energy Marketplace for Asia. This event, jointly organized with the Private Financing Advisory Network (PFAN) Asia, engaged experts from project development companies, financial institutions, service providers and development institutions to interact about their business requirements, financial and risk management offerings, and service offerings to support various renewable energy technologies and business models.

The panel discussion, together with interactive sessions and matchmaking, explored ways to scale up renewable energy finance, including through the use of tools and services such as the Marketplace, third-party assessments and more.

The event is part of the Networking and Matchmaking Day of ACEF which also comprises a morning half day event on Green Technology Matchmaking, organized by the World Intellectual Property Organization.
