The programme aims to build and enhance capacity for long-term energy planning in seven CAPP countries able to participate: Angola, Burundi, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of Congo, Gabon, and Rwanda.
Upon the successful conclusion of the pilot examinations for the certification of off-grid solar PV technicians in Senegal and Ghana, a workshop with all of the main stakeholders is planned to review the results of the piloting, the progress so far, and to discuss the way forward.

A high-level event took place in Panama City for the launch of the report, which included government officials from various institutions, and representatives from the private sector, industry and academia.
