Two events of the Global Geothermal Alliance (GGA), took place in the framework of the Iceland Geothermal Conference.

The Central Asia Regional Workshop on Policy Support Mechanisms was organized by IRENA as a capacity building activity for sharing experiences in setting more market-based renewable energy support schemes.

IRENA, with the support of the European Commission, is organising a two-day consultation workshop present and consult with the EU Member States on the preliminary results from the analysis of the end-use sectors (transport, industry and buildings), and the power sector.
