International Conference “Intellectual Property, Managing Green Technologies and Climate Change Mitigation Technologies”
The International Conference “Intellectual Property, Managing Green Technologies and Climate Change Mitigation Technologies (CCMT)” was organised on 10 and 11 October, 2018, by Bocconi University with the support of the European Patent Office. This International Conference, held in Milan, had the objective to build upon the results of an event on "Climate Change Mitigation Technologies", co-organized by the European Patent Office in Athens on 21 and 22 September 2017.
The international conference provided a high-level platform to exchange ideas, discuss the questions related to intellectual property and green technology and further address cutting-edge questions on the subject. IRENA provided an overview of patents in the renewable energy sector, underlining latest patents trends and innovation needs in the close future. The Agency also participated in the roundtable discussion focused on technological convergence and IP.
The event was attended by 140 participants from 41 Countries, mostly from government, business circles, and academia.
The Conference Program can be downloaded in here. See below for speaker presentations.
A Conference Outcome Document was prepared by Pr. Laurent Manderieux, Coordinator of the activity, and Dr. Roberto Rizzo, Moderator of the final roundtable.
