IRENA welcomes the Czech Republic as 139th Signatory

The number of Signatories taking part in the third session of the Preparatory Commission for IRENA on 17 January 2010 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates increased to 139. Today, 11 days before the conference, the Ambassador of the Czech Republic in Germany, Mr. Rudolf Jindrák signed IRENA´s Statute.
In order for IRENA to move forward with its tasks in 2010 and beyond, important decisions have to be taken. States will decide on IRENA’s Budget and Work Programme for 2010 as well as discuss a number of legal issues that will shape and guide IRENA’s short and long term activities.
