IRENA organised the 1st International Conference on Renewable Energy for Healthcare in Singapore on 2 November 2018 immediately after the 4th International Off-Grid Renewable Energy Conference and Exhibition (IOREC).

This webinar explains the offer of funding, eligibility criteria, selection and evaluation process and how to apply in the 7th cycle.

The Regional Renewable Energy Policy Support Mechanism Workshop for Southeast Asia was organised by IRENA as a capacity building activity for sharing experiences in setting more market-based renewable energy support schemes. The workshop is part of the implementation of ASEAN-IRENA MoU and Action Plan.

The twenty-eighth Council meeting of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) will be held on 24 to 25 October 2024.

At the 2018 World Government Summit, world leaders and global thinkers came together to identify the highest-priority, near-term solutions to address the growing humanitarian dimension of climate change, as well as its disproportionate impact on women and children. The aim was to agree on a limited number of solutions for collective action and/or internal reforms that can be undertaken within the subsequent 12 months.

Organised in the framework of the SIDS Lighthouses Initiative and co-organised with the Indian Ocean Commission (IOC), the regional workshop on renewable energy project development and financing in the Indian Ocean Islands supported capacity building efforts by implementing a regional training on project development and financing for local SIDS stakeholders.

The sixteenth meeting of the Council took place on 13 - 15 November 2018 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
