21 – 23 November 2016 |Maputo, Mozambique
In 2012, IRENA concluded its Renewables Readiness Assessment (RRA) process for Mozambique, culminating in a final report that included several key recommendations and actions. While progress has been made since the completion of the RRA, Mozambique still requires substantial investments to improve access to energy and achieve higher shares of renewable energy.
The workshop targeted key governmental agencies from across the country, in addition to public and private finance institutions, and allow for interactive, technical discussion. The workshop concluded with a ministerial-level closing session, focused on outcomes and actions ahead.
