IRENA Statement on the Decision to Postpone the West Africa Investment Forum / 6th IOREC in Abuja, Nigeria

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, 28 October – The International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) has made the difficult decision, due to circumstances outside its control, to postpone both the West Africa Investment Forum (WAIF) to be held on 31 October and 2 November; and the 6th International Off-grid Renewable Energy Conference (IOREC) to be held from 3 to 4 November during the International Energy Transition Week in Abuja, Nigeria.

IRENA wishes to inform all its partners and member countries that the events are being rescheduled and new dates will shortly be agreed between the Government of Nigeria and IRENA. Once again, we sincerely regret any inconvenience caused by this announcement, and we look forward to welcoming you to the event once it has been rescheduled.
