Bulgaria and Slovenia ratified the IRENA Statute

On 22 March 2010, Slovenia ratified the IRENA Statute, followed by Bulgaria on 23 March. Until today a total of fourteen countries has ratified IRENA’s founding document. The Preparatory Commission for IRENA has been set up to ensure a rapid and effective establishment of the Agency. The Statute enters into force one month after the twenty-fifth ratification. At this point, IRENA will become a fully fledged organisation.
