Republic of Guinea joins IRENA and becomes 78th Member

IRENA takes shape, while Membership grows - the Republic of Guinea joins IRENA as the 78th Member. Today, the Chargé d´Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of the Republic of Guinea in Germany, Mr. Mohamed Lamine Kaba, signed the Statute of IRENA in the German Foreign Office in Berlin in the presence of Mr. Viktor Elbling, Deputy Director-General responsible for International Energy Policy, Globalization and Sustainable Development. Presently, IRENA is preparing for the second session of the Preparatory Commission held at the end of June in Egypt, where decisions for the further set up of the Agency will be made.
