Mission Innovation
In 2018, IRENA entered a partnership with Mission Innovation to reinvigorate and accelerate clean energy innovation, agreed to work together to scale-up the deployment of renewable energy technologies through knowledge sharing on innovation data, trends and priorities.

In 2019, IRENA and UNFCCC jointly ramped up efforts to fight climate change by promoting the widespread adoption and sustainable use of renewable energy.
