Capacity Building in Long-Term Energy Scenarios Modelling Ecuador

The training programme titled “Capacity Building in Long-Term Energy Scenarios Modelling” will be delivered over two months, consisting of two main training activities:
- An initial home-based preparatory online course on the MESSAGE integrated energy modelling software; and
- Practical training sessions on the use and development of long-term energy scenarios with the MESSAGE model in the context of Ecuador and climate ambitious targets.
This is an invite-only capacity building programme organized by IRENA’s Energy Planning Support Team and the Climate Action Team.
