IRENA’s Long-Term Energy Scenario (LTES) Network provides a key international platform to discuss, share knowledge and exchange best practices on the use and development of long-term model-based energy scenarios. It aims to promote the wider adoption and improved use of long-term energy scenarios to support national policymaking and accelerate the clean energy transition. The LTES Network is open to all IRENA member countries and to institutions supporting governments in long-term energy scenario development.
In this context, two information sessions were held to provide an opportunity for countries interested in joining the LTES Network to ask questions and gain insights on the benefits of joining the LTES Network, as well as our upcoming activities and publications. The meetings took place on:
