IRENA, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and Ente Operador Regional EOR held a second phase of the training for national power system operators in Central America. The training aimed to provide deep technical discussions on the underlying concepts and parameters of VRE models for grid studies and their specific applications in Central America, with the use of PSSE advanced tools.
Building on previous work undertaken in the last grid integration workshop in El Salvador in 2018, this training gathered regional and national power system stakeholders in Central America and focused on the following topics:
