The Energy Efficiency Organization of Iran (SATBA) invited IRENA to conduct a workshop on the IRENA Project Navigator during the Second Iran Renewable Energy Conference in Tehran. Attended by high-level government officials, private sector companies, and other key actors, the conference provides the country with insights into how to remove barriers and facilitate domestic investment in renewables. IRENA’s session aimed at building the capacity of project developers and investors interested in developing solar PV projects in Iran, including with regards to improving conditions for financing such projects.
