Sustainability depends on renewable energy

Adnan Amin, Director-General of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), addressed the United Nations Secretary-General’s High-Level Event on Sustainable Energy for All (SE4ALL) on 24 September 2012 in New York. Mr. Amin is part of the advisory group guiding the SE4ALL initiative, which calls for doubling the share of renewable energy in the global energy mix, among other sustainability measures.
