22 Countries joined IRENA at the second session of the Preparatory Commission in Sharm El Sheikh
During today’s Signing Ceremony at the second session of the Preparatory Commission, in the presence of approximately 500 participants from all over the world, the following 22 States signed IRENA´s Founding Treaty at the International Congress Centre in Sharm El Sheikh (SEICC), Egypt:

Angola, Antigua and Barbuda, Australia, Costa Rica, Fiji, Gabon, Japan, Kiribati, Lesotho, Liechtenstein, Maldives, Malta, Nauru, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Swaziland, Timor-Leste, Tonga, USA, Vanuatu and Zimbabwe
As of today, 136 Member States took part in the important decision making process of the second session of the Preparatory Commission of the Agency's interim headquarters and its Interim Director-General.
