The meeting will explore how countries are integrating geothermal energy into their energy markets through supportive regulations, market mechanisms, and policy frameworks that facilitate renewable energy transition.
The International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy of Mongolia, held a workshop to launch the publication “Strategic Heating Plan for Mongolia: Integration of Renewable Energy Solutions in Heating Systems”, a techno-economic assessment on developing renewable energy-based heating systems in Mongolia.
