Renewables Talk for IRENA Permanent Representatives

IRENA was pleased to co-host with the United Arab Emirates, the launch of the Renewables Talk for IRENA Permanent Representatives. The first online Renewables Talk webinar provided an update of IRENA's activities and focus on the recently launched IRENA's first Global Renewables Outlook: Energy Transformation 2050. Global Renewables Outlook outlines a pathway to this future. In particular, it highlights the importance of aligning short-term recovery efforts with the medium- and long-term objectives of the Paris Agreement and the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

The Renewables Talk was a unique opportunity for IRENA’s Permanent Representatives to share their insights and experiences with each other in a dynamic and interactive discussion..

The webinar took place on 13 May from 11:00am to 12:30pm Abu Dhabi time. Attendance was by invitation only.
