Second International Forum on Long-term Energy Scenarios (LTES) for the Clean Energy Transition
The Second International Forum on Long-term Energy Scenarios (LTES) for the Clean Energy Transition was held on the 26th of March 2020 as an online full-day event.
26 global experts from governments, technical institutions, academia and the private sector were invited to exchange practical experience and gather good practices in using and developing long-term energy scenarios to support policymaking and planning for the clean energy transition. The Forum was viewed by over 625 attendees from 83 different countries.
This virtual event built on the rich discussions being held under the umbrella of the Clean Energy Ministerial (CEM) Campaign on Long-term Scenarios for the Energy Transition (LTES Campaign) launched in June 2018, and on activities organised under IRENA’s Long-term Energy Scenario Network – LTES Network which expanded the scope of the LTES Campaign to all IRENA’s member countries.
See the Forum’s proceedings (to be shared soon), as well as the concept note and agenda.
