IRENA/ADFD Facility - Mauritius selected project onsite appraisal

Mauritius, Port Louis

IRENA and ADFD operational representatives met with project coordinators (the Central Electricity Board), representatives of the Ministries of energy and finance and beneficiaries and visited project sites to confirm and/or find out more details on the following:

  • management structure of the project;
  • justification and clarification of the costs of the project;
  • understanding of ADFD procedures and next steps.

The trip was also an opportunity to report on the potential impact of the project by interviewing beneficiaries of the project.
