Regional Energy Integration Forum and OLADE XLVII Meeting of Ministers

The Regional Energy Integration Forum and the OLADE Meeting of Ministers took place from 4-7 December in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and included key officials from energy ministries, regulatory agencies, planning institutes, and the private sector from Latin America. IRENA took an active part in these meetings. In addition, the Agency organised a side event on 6 December, in collaboration with OLADE and the Government of Argentina, focused on lessons learned and opportunities ahead for renewable energy deployment in Argentina, and the region more broadly. The event highlighted Argentina's Year of Renewable Energy and their successful RenovAr auction program.
