South African Workshop on Renewable Energy Data Collection and Processing, Methods and Tools

The three-day technical workshop, with a purpose to strengthen the knowledge, skills, and analytical abilities in the field of renewable energy data collection, processing, and management, was conducted in order to receive improved data from South Africa. The workshop was prepared by IRENA, in collaboration with the International Energy Agency (IEA) and the Danish Energy Agency.

The training was requested by the Department of Energy, currently developing a public Renewable Energy Data and Information Service (REDIS).
