RRA workshop in Zimbabwe

The Government of Zimbabwe and IRENA co-organised a two-day workshop in Harare for peer review of the results of the Zimbabwe RRA Team work, in order to improve the RRA document. The event gathered around 50-70 attendees from key institutions in Zimbabwe as well as regional bodies such as SADC Secretariat, RERA, SAPP and Partners, which are involved in the Energy Sector in Zimbabwe. In addition, several bilateral meetings were scheduled with senior officials from key energy related entities such as utilities and regulatory bodies, etc. and the Harare-based donors’ community for getting a better overview of the energy landscape in Zimbabwe and informing the final RRA report.
