Consultation on Greening APG Initiative

This workshop, jointly organised by IRENA, Heads of ASEAN Power Utilities and Authorities (HAPUA) Working Group 1, and the ASEAN Center for Energy (ACE), addressed the optimised use of indigenous renewable energy sources in the expansion of the power grid of the Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN), known as the Greening the ASEAN Power Grid (APG) Initiative. It also included discussions of how IRENA’s Clean Energy Corridor concept could be adapted to the context of this region to optimise the use of indigenous renewable energy sources.
