Women Leadership and Renewable Energy Conference

IRENA and the European Commission, in collaboration with United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women), organised the Women Leadership and Renewable Energy Conference in Brussels, Belgium, on 18 June 2015, as part of the European Sustainability Week 2015. This half-day conference was an occasion to discuss the key role that women leaders play in accelerating the transition to a cleaner energy future as well as opportunities for empowering women in the renewable energy field.
