Launch of the Global Wind Atlas - Presented by IRENA and DTU

On Oct 21, the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) and the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), will be launching the world’s most detailed wind data resource. The Global Wind Atlas will be freely available via IRENA’s Global Atlas platform and provides high resolution wind resource data.

During this online launch event, speakers from IRENA, DTU, the Danish Ministry of Energy, Utilities and Climate, and the Global Wind Energy Council will present the new tool and discuss how it can help break down barriers to renewable energy development and accelerate growth of wind power worldwide.
