Workshop in the Philippines: Renewables Readiness Assessment

A multi-stakeholder consultation workshop was jointly organised by the Department of Energy (DOE) of the Philippines, the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) and Germany’s International Cooperation Agency (GIZ) on 22-23 October 2014 in Manila, the Philippines. The workshop focused on the key issues for the Renewable Readiness Assessment (RRA) for the Philippines, a collaborative effort between the Philippine DOE and IRENA. Findings from the workshop were to be provided to the National Renewable Energy Board, for consideration in the ongoing review of the National Renewable Energy Program.
