REmap 2030: Progress and key insights

REmap workshops are a crucial component of IRENA’s engagement with countries and other stakeholders that have contributed to the development of REmap 2030, a roadmap for doubling the share of renewables in the global energy mix. The workshop in Abu Dhabi provided vital input for the preparation of the next global REmap report, to be launched at the end of 2015. Discussions focused on how to provide greater detail on country engagement, contribute to the development of country action agendas, and shape IRENA’s new projects around other REmap elements, including “action teams” currently being formed.
