Knowledge-sharing workshop for South Asian regional renewable energy associations and networks

This workshop brought together key renewable energy and clean energy associations from South Asia to share their existing knowledge. Participants brainstormed on the potential to set up a South Asia Alliance to promote enterprise development, knowledge-sharing on financial instruments, and techno-economic cooperation for renewable energy, as well as to initiate North-South and South-South collaborative efforts to deploy renewables effectively. The workshop was conducted jointly with the Climate Group; the Centre for Innovation, Incubation and Entrepreneurship (CIIE) at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad; and DFID-India, the regional office of the UK Department for International Development.
