Launch of the REmap Mexico report during the 2nd Ministerial Meeting of the Energy and Climate Partnership of the Americas (ECPA) and the 6th Clean Energy Ministerial

On the 26 May, IRENA launched the REmap Mexico report during the 2nd Ministerial Meeting of the Energy and Climate Partnership of the Americas (ECPA) and a day before the 6th Clean Energy Ministerial (CEM) meeting. The event took place in Merida, Mexico and included remarks by the Secretary of Energy of Mexico, Mr. Pedro Joaquin Coldwell, IRENA’s Director-General Mr. Adnan Amin, IRENA Innovation and Technology Centre (IITC) Director Mr. Dolf Gielen, and the Undersecretary for Planning and Energy Transition of the Mexican Energy Secretariat (SENER) Mr. Leonardo Beltran Rodriquez.

The report was a collaboration between IRENA and SENER
