The International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) maintains a joint database with the International Energy Agency (IEA) for policies and measures pertaining to renewable energy from around the world.
The IEA/IRENA Joint Policies and Measures Database for Global Renewable Energy holds country-validated renewable energy policy data and country-specific policy profiles from 129 countries. It builds on existing IEA data, expanding this through the global reach of IRENA’s membership, in order to address increasing demand from policy makers, researchers and the general public for easily accessible information on renewable energy policies and measures. The joint database contains nearly 2,000 entries (as of May 2015) and continues to grow as more countries implement policies and measures to promote renewable energy.
