Newsletter

The workshop was successful in that it was exceptionally well attended with more than 80 participants from all parts of the world. The workshop was divided into three major sections; the first one provided the latest technical background on the work, achievements and vision for the global atlas; second one provided participants with regional and national perspectives from end users who have already used similar tools; and the last section was an interactive discussion within the audience where each participant could bring his/her contribution to the development of the global atlas.
