Green Value Chain Integration: Opportunities for Youth-led innovations to accelerate green transition in private & public sectors

The global economies are racing towards just energy and green transition translated in their national projects and private sector engagement. New green solutions and renewable energy technologies are aspired to be integrated into current value chains. Such transition provides various amount of business opportunities for innovations and specifically resilient, lean youth-led businesses to explore and tap into.

In 2023, IRENA launched the inaugural NewGen Renewable Energy Accelerator Programme for Youth to accelerate Climate and Energy Youth-led business from across the world and provide promotion and access to investment through IRENA worldwide network. In 2024, IRENA resumes its efforts through the second cohort of the NewGen Accelerator.

On the sideline of the AIM Congress 2024, IRENA is inviting a pool of Senior panelists representing the public and private sector to discuss together means and opportunities of Green Value Chain Integration and the opportunities it creates for Youth-led innovations to accelerate the Green Transition.
